(Includes prayer)
Join Tabz (David Taberner), Hettie and Emily as they bring us a special KS1/KS2 video Christingle Service. As an addition to our Safe Space Collective Worship Assemblies, we’ve created this special session, available to all, but particularly to provide for local church primary schools who would usually join together for a Christingle Service at the Cathedral.
Schools may want to use this video service alongside creating Christingles for each child. However, we’ve created the video in such a way that this isn’t essential.
Safe Space is a project of Southport & Area Schools Worker Trust, creating a safe space to explore the big issues of life and faith in local schools.
Learning Objectives:
- To widen understanding of the Christian faith and the place of Christmas within it.
- To implement widened understanding through reflecting on our own hopes and truths.
- To see an impact in how we shape our hopes, think of others at this time, and have a memorable symbol for remembering the Christian significance of Christmas.
