Join Tabz (David Taberner), Hettie and Emily as they bring us another KS1/KS2 video assembly / collective worship, this time on the theme of facing our fears – even those fears that are giant sized. In this session we look at the story David and Goliath and reflect on what we can learn when facing our own fears today.
Safe Space is a project of Southport & Area Schools Worker Trust, creating a safe space to explore the big issues of life and faith in local schools.
Learning Objectives:
- To widen understanding of the Christian faith and Old Testament stories.
- To implement widened understanding through reflecting on how we face fear in our own lives today and putting in place practical strategies to cope better.
- To see an impact in each child’s resilience to fear as they address fear in a more healthy manner.
